Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 (1.25-oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
- 1 1/2 – 2 cup corn chips, crushed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- Shredded lettuce for garnish
- 4 Hass Avocados, peeled and sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
Instructions:
- Brown beef and onion. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, taco mix, and olives. Spread crescent rolls in 9 inch pie plate to form crust. Spread beef mixture in crust, then spread sour cream over meat. Cover with cheese and corn chips. Bake 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Garnish: on each plate put lettuce, avocado slices and tomato slices.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages
about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity
accordingly.
