Ron's Mexican Cornbread with Hass Avocados

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 lb. sausage
- 2 small cans green chilies
- 2 pkgs. yellow cornbread mix
- 2 pkgs. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1 can whole kernel corn drained
- 1 cup diced jalapeños
- 6 Hass Avocados diced
Instructions:
- Cook hamburger and sausage together. Mix 2 packages of yellow cornbread together using a large bowl. After mixing cornbread in bowl add all ingredients except 1 package shredded cheese and including avocados and hamburger and sausage to bowl. Mix together and stir with whisk. Grease an 11 x 24 glass cooking dish and pour cornbread mixture into dish. Put 1 pkg. of shredded cheese on top of cornbread. Bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Serving Suggestions:
Make guacamole mix with 3
Hass Avocados to either dip cornbread in or to dip chips in. Serve with 1 large can of tamales as a
side dish.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8
ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
